Fluid behind eardrum or wax against it?

i cleaned my ears with a q-tip as i always do a few times a week. i fely as if there was a large amt of wax so i put a few drops of peroxide in and cleaned again, this time i lost my hearing in the ear. it feels like my ear needs to pop or when water gets stuck after swimming. i went to doc and she flushed them and said i had a small peice of wax too close to drum for her to mess with. i still have no relief after 8 days! she gave me prednisone and flonase. i also took sudafed and zyrtec. any ideas on what i should do? not really having pain, just pressure/fullness and no hearing.
