Can someone tell me were the post is located on a basketball court is it rite beside the baseline?

It is at the bottom of the "key" on each side right below the basket. There is normally a larger hash mark there indicating the post. The "key" is the area of the basketball court that stretches from the baseline below the hoop to the three point line, it consists of a large rectangle and a half circle.
